I came to Dr. Friedman over a year ago due to general anxiety, performance anxiety, and panic attacks. He was very helpful in getting me the care I needed to feel better day to day and do my job without having an attack. Dr. Friedman was kind, gentle and understanding, I'd definitely recommend him to someone who is looking for this type of help. I'm glad I went to him over my general practitioner, as I wanted an expert that wasn't just giving me therapy or medication without truly knowing what was going on, how to manage it, and the impact it would have on my body.

Dr. Friedman, While I am sad our time together is coming to an end, without your assistance and tailored medication regimen, I would be far less confident in my ability to uproot my life for a wonderful opportunity in corporate strategy in the Northeast. Thank you for your compassion, empathy, understanding of Co-occurring illnesses, and thoughtful, evidence-based prescribing with special attention to side effects and potential adverse reactions. Anybody who goes to Dr. Friedman’s practice, with or without insurance, will greatly appreciate the tailored personalization of your treatment plan, intelligence, and overall thoughtfulness in developing a treatment plan that works for you.

To anyone looking for an amazing psychiatrist Dr. Friedman truly is an amazing doctor. He helped me through an incredibly hard time with depression and anxiety. I was literally lost and he helped me with his expertise and kindness. De. Friedman cares so much for his clients I have never experienced this with any other mental health professional. An example of his genuine care for me is that he actually called me to check on me and spoke with my husband and I for an hour, without an appt or a charge. I am so grateful for his help and guidance and would highly recommend him to anyone I know, I was a virtual patient and made it a point to drive to Plano from Houston to meet him in person. Top rating 5 out of 5 for sure.

Absolutely five stars to Dr. Friedman! I was referred to Dr. Friedman by my psychologist for medication management related to my anxiety and depression. I feel as though Dr. Friedman really listens to my concerns and prescribes medication tailored to my needs. He is accessible for any concerns you may have, and I believe he genuinely cares about his patients and their well-being. I am extremely pleased my provider recommended Dr. Friedman.

I found Dr. Friedman after a psychiatrist I was attempting to start with didn't have any availability and it sure was a good thing! Dr. Friedman was great to work with. He truly listens to you, wants you to succeed, and takes the time to make sure you have all the support you need and that any mental health medication is working well for you. He also takes time to really dig in to what's going on in your life. Every time I'd talk with him and he'd ask me how I was going I would answer, but mainly in reporting how everyone else in my family or my business was doing (as it always seemed to be a big indicator of how I was doing)....and every time, he'd say no, "how are YOU doing?" Always reminding me that I am more than a mom, wife, or entrepreneur. I will always remember how much he truly cared for me. I highly recommend meeting with him if you are looking for a psychiatrist.

I have dealt with depression and anxiety for about 25 years, and had been prescribed numerous medications over the years by my Primary Care Physician(s). In 2022, I started suffering from such extreme anxiety that it was causing tremendous physical problems. I couldn't sleep, couldn't eat, didn't enjoy life at all, and was nauseous all the time. I just didn't realize the problems were tied to anxiety. After four trips to the ER (one by ambulance), CT Scans, MRIs, an Endoscopy, and other tests, my Internal Medicine specialist suggested that I see a psychiatrist. Dr. Friedman was the first doctor I called when searching for someone near me. He answered the phone personally, listened to my symptoms, and simply said, "I can help you with that. When can you come in?" He was able to see me just a few days later. He gave me hope, which is exactly what I needed at the time. After listening to my symptoms and my feelings, he prescribed the combination of medication he felt would help me the most. After tweaking the dose and a few follow up visits, I am back to living a normal life. Dr. Friedman was always kind and patient, and never made me feel rushed. I feel so fortunate to have found him. I highly recommend him.

I usually do not leave reviews but in the case Dr Friedman I just have to let anyone and everyone know what a wonderful psychiatrist he is. I have seen many psychiatrists during my lifetime and he rates at the top of the list. He is very caring and so easy to talk to and I always feel that he's actually listening to what's going on in my life. Here is a psychiatrist that actually wants to help you and get you the right medication. I cannot say enough good things about this man. Great location. Very easy to schedule appointments or request refills. I wish I would have started seeing him at the very beginning back in 1980. Keep up the awesome work Dr Friedman. You are a credit to your field
